Perivoli Schools Trust is a development-focused organization committed to unlocking potential through education. The organization works with schools and communities across Malawi to improve learning outcomes and empower educators.
Perivoli Schools Trust is seeking committed and capable Trainers to work across the Southern, Central, and Northern regions of Malawi. This is an independent service provider role, with payments based on monthly work completed.
Key Duties
- Deliver training and mentorship to teachers and school leaders
- Support education programs within local communities
- Engage with stakeholders to improve teaching and learning outcomes
- Train and support teachers in schools
- Supervise and guide groups of teachers and school leaders
- Collect data and prepare clear reports
- Share knowledge and expertise with stakeholders
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and related activities
Requirements
- Relevant diploma or higher qualification from a recognized institution
- Experience in teaching, training, or community work is an added advantage
- Ability to use a smartphone
- Ability to follow written instructions accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Personal qualities such as honesty, patience, and integrity
- Must be based in one of the following districts:
- Mzimba, Rumphi, Nkhata-Bay, Dedza, Nkhotakota, Ntcheu, Lilongwe, Phalombe, Chiradzulu, Chikwawa, or Mangochi
- Fluent in both English and the local language
- Willing to work with diverse and underprivileged communities
- Available on weekday mornings and occasionally weekends
- Flexible and able to attend activities at short notice
- Physically fit and able to walk long distances
- Available for interviews at short notice
